Businessman Jim Graves will announce his campaign against U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., at noon Tuesday at one of his hotels, the Le St-Germain Suite in St. Cloud.
Graves is one of three Democratic Farmer Labor candidates seeking to unseat Bachmann in the Sixth District.
Like Bachmann, Graves does not live in the Sixth District. Once-a-decade congressional redistricting placed Bachmann's home in West Lakeland Township outside the district lines. Graves grew up in St. Cloud, but now lives in Minneapolis.
White Bear Lake business owner Brian McGoldrick, a political newcomer, and St. Cloud attorney Anne Nolan, a former state legislature candidate, are also vying for the DFL nomination.
