The threat for a frost and freeze will expand to the Northeast at the end ofthe weekend. High pressure will direct enough cold air southward from Canada tosend temperatures plunging to or below the freezing mark through the region'sinterior Sunday night. The air will not be cold enough for frost in the majorcities along the Interstate 95 corridor.
