If you want some deadpan, high- and low-minded comedy, check out Four Humors, a crackerjack company that was a favorite in the Fringe Festival last summer. Members of this company headed by Jason Ballweber were involved in two of the festival's best shows: "Four Humors' Lolita: A Three Man Show" in which the title temptress was a pudgy guy with a beer belly in a bikini, and "The Nose," an absurdly funny adaptation of Gogol's story. The itinerant company has been performing since 2005, but it has often flown below the radar. Its inventive physicality, especially when interpreting classic texts, makes it well worth following. 612-293-9671; fourhumorstheater.com
