Fresh off his Oscar win for best adapted screenplay with "The Social Network," Aaron Sorkin is reportedly returning to TV. Sorkin, best known for "The West Wing" and "A Few Good Men," is returning to fertile ground for him: the TV biz. Past Sorkin series "Sports Night" and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" have delved into life behind the camera as well as the critical battles over what gets on the air. Talk about writing what you know. It might seem a little too inside baseball, but the new Sorkin show has the added attraction of being picked up by HBO, which would seemingly lift a lot of the creative hurdles he has faced in the past. Names attached to the series include Jeff Daniels as a TV news anchor, Emily Mortimer as the new producer and Sam Waterston as the boss. (Hmm, wonder where we've seen that one before.)
