Minnesota is contributing an 88-foot towering green giant to the nation's capital for its Christmas tree. The behemoth was cut down today in Chippewa National Forest. It will be carefully placed on a Mack truck and will drink from bags of water so it doesn't get dry along the journey. Watch this space for updated photos when it is adorned in early December in the nation's capital.
