A senior member of the Guthrie Theater's leadership team has left the Twin Cities' flagship theater.
Jacques Brunswick, the chief administrative officer, ended his nearly seven-year tenure at the Guthrie on Aug. 2, the theater confirmed.
Brunswick moved to New York to become chief operating officer at the famed Apollo Theater in New York. He started that job on Tuesday.
"It was a personal move to be closer to my family," he said from his new office. "But I left the Guthrie in good shape. We did some good things there."
In December, the theater lost its longtime development director, Dianne Brennan, who resigned.
The Guthrie has begun a search to fill the administrative leader position.
