Jeanette Sackett can't go one day without thinking about what she's lost. It's been 50 years since her police officer husband, James Sackett, was slain in an ambush, but the pain has not subsided. On Friday, St. Paul police and other law enforcement agencies commemorated the anniversary with a procession outside her St. Paul home and surprised Sackett with 50 blue roses -- presented by Chief Todd Axtell and her late husband's former partner.
