An unusually, strong storm system by June standards will bring steady rainand thunderstorms to the Northeast through Friday morning. The heaviest rainwill spread from upstate New York through Maine, with a general 1-2 inches.Despite the heavy rainfall, the risk of flooding will be low due to the quickmovement of the storm.

The heavier rain will spread into Atlantic Canada on Friday and continueinto Friday night over Newfoundland.
