The Pixies are returning to the Roy to do "Doolittle' Aren't we privileged? St.Paul will be only one of three U.S. cities in which the Pixies will perform their beloved 1989 album "Doolittle" in its entirety. The mostly Canadian tour (13 cities in the Great White North, eh) will detour to Roy Wilkins Auditorium on April 24.In 2009, the Pixies celebrated the 20th anniversary of "Doolittle" with a European tour and continued with a U.S. leg last year. As with those shows, the quartet will play all 15 tracks from the album and related B sides including "Weird at School" and "Bailey's Walk."You'll recall that in April 2004, the Pixies reunited for their first gig in 12 years at Minneapolis' own Fine Line Music Café. The alt-rock heroes returned that fall to play Roy Wilkins.A ticket pre-sale for the April concert begins at 8 a.m. Friday at www.pixiesmusic.com. The regular sale is Jan. 28.
