Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias

7:30 p.m. • Target Center • $19.50-$99.50

Pitbull is the Miami party machine. With hit after hit, including "Don't Stop the Party" and "I Know You Want Me," he keeps the dance floor hopping. More a rapper than a singer, he'll rely on videos in concert for vocal contributions from Ke$ha, Chris Brown and Christina Aguilera. The nattily attired James Bond of hip-hop is sharing a bill with casually dressed Latin heartthrob Enrique Iglesias. Last seen in the Twin Cities on tour with Jennifer Lopez, Iglesias brings a more diversified repertoire, ranging from big ballads like "Hero" to party songs like "Tonight." Look for these two Latin superstars to collaborate on a couple of tunes, including "I Like It." J. Balvin opens. Jon Bream

Joshua Radin

8 p.m. • Mill City Nights • 18-plus • $25-$45

They don't make 'em like Joshua Radin anymore: sensitive, sweet-voiced, handsome, with honest, intimate, mellow, cuddly tunes. His just-released sixth album, "Onward & Sideways," is his first on the Fat Possum label. Not as sad as on past records, the Cleveland-bred, Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter, 40, sounds like a cross between an uncreepy John Mayer and an unbeachy Jack Johnson. Opening are two of Radin's buddies from their Hotel Cafe tour days, Andrew Belle and Cary Brothers. J.B.

Catfish & the Bottlemen

9 p.m. • 7th Street Entry • 18-plus • sold out

Welch quintet Catfish & the Bottlemen played to about a hundred people last summer at the Varsity but sold twice that many tickets in advance this time around after their full-length debut, "The Balcony," arrived last month on Mumford-affiliated Communion imprint via Island Records. Their Delta Spirit-like lead single "Kathleen" helped hype the record, and their high-energy live show should help all the more. New-wavey San Antonio quartet Wild Party opens. Chris Riemenschneider

Travi$ Scott

8 p.m. • Fine Line • 18-plus • $3-$10

A corporate-subsidized rap show is like the nerdy kid offering to do your homework. It's appreciated, but doesn't mean you'll kick it with 'em after class. Red Bull's monthly Sound Select series launches in the Twin Cities with this rising Houston-area artist. Forget 2 Chainz; Travi$ Scott has two deals with two of the game's heavyweights. As a stud producer, he's crewed up with Ye's GOOD Music, while his solo emcee work — including last year's stellar "Days Before Rodeo," which produced AutoTune-splashed singles "Mamacita" and "Don't Play" — comes via T.I.'s Grand Hustle. Bobby Raps, Blvck Spvce and DJ Tiiiiiiiiiip open. RSVP for $3 entry at www.redbullsoundselect.com.Michael Rietmulder

The Floozies

8 p.m. • First Avenue • 18-plus • $15-$17

Fraternal duo Matt and Mark Hill — working together out of Lawrence, Kan., as the Floozies — don't reflect their background; this is not a pair of backwater bluegrass brothers. Matt plays guitar and messes around with production gadgets, while Mark tightens the rhythm on drums, making for some deliciously groovy electronic music. Their funky jams, featuring soulful mash-ups and potent bass drops, lead to robust live shows, so plan on getting down. If you'd like to fine-tune your moves before the show, all of the Floozies' music is available for free download via their website. Russ Liquid and Artifakts open. Alex Nelson
