FEB. 8

Burglary. A home on the 13600 block of Partridge Circle NW. was burglarized. Someone apparently gained access to the home using the security code to the garage door -- the code was taped to the keypad.

BLAINE

FEB. 12

Disturbing the peace. A woman from a home in 13000 block of Isanti Street NE. called police to report that a man was outside her bathroom window looking in at her while she was getting out of the shower. According to police reports, the woman's boyfriend went outside and saw a man next to a vehicle. The suspect ran when the boyfriend yelled at him, but the boyfriend was able to give police a description of the man, the vehicle and a license plate number. Police found the vehicle on 109th Avenue and Club West Parkway, and the suspect was in the vehicle. The boyfriend identified the suspect and the 24-year-old man was arrested.

FEB. 14

Theft. A woman called police to report a theft in the parking lot at Majors Sports Cafe, 10950 Club West Pkwy. NE. The woman said she took a cab home and left her vehicle in the parking lot. She said she had left the key in the ignition. When she went to the lot the next morning, the vehicle was gone. Glass at the scene indicated that a window had been smashed to gain entry. The vehicle was later found.

FEB. 18

Assist animal. A woman called police to report that a dog was caught in a leg trap set for a coyote in the 1700 block of 130th Avenue NE. An officer assisted the dog's owner with removing the dog from the trap. The dog's leg was bloody and the animal was taken to a veterinarian for examination. According to police reports, a short time later a man arrived and said he had placed the traps for the homeowner and that he would take responsibility. He was issued a citation for a violation of the city's trapping prohibitions. The homeowner could not be reached, but the officer left a note for the homeowner to call.

FRIDLEY

FEB. 11

Theft. Someone stole bolt cutters and cigarettes from an unlocked garage of a home on the 5500 block of 6th Street NE.

FEB. 13

Disorderly conduct. Someone called police to report that four males were fighting outside a home in the 4500 block of Main Street NE. An officer saw four males arguing in the driveway. Two entered the home, and the remaining two told police they had been arguing about a Super Bowl bet and that no one was physically fighting. No one answered the door to the house. The two males who remained outside were transported home.

Assisting the public. An officer responded to a 911 call at home in the 5600 block of West Bavarian Pass NE. A child was home alone and called 911. While the officer was talking with the child, the mother arrived home from running a short errand.

HAM LAKE

FEB. 8

Buglary. A home on the 4100 block of Bunker Lake Boulevard NW. was burglarized. The doors to the home had been left unlocked.

LEXINGTON

FEB. 20

Theft. A 21-year-old woman called police to report that her purse had been stolen from a bar in the 3800 block of Restwood Road. She said she had left it on the bar unattended for half an hour.

ST. ANTHONY

FEB. 17

Theft. A 19-year-old woman called police to report the theft of her purse from Caribou Coffee at 2800 39th Av. NE. She told police she left her purse unattended and later discovered that three credit cards and $11 in cash were missing from her purse. One of the credit cards already had been used.
