Theft. A 2013 Ford XLT was stolen from the 1800 block of Fox Run. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys had been left inside.

OCT. 10

Trespassing. An officer spotted two males fishing on private property in the 7200 block of Main Street. They were told to leave and seek permission next time from the owner.

Theft. A cellphone was stolen from the 6000 block of 109th Avenue.

OCT. 2

Theft. Shoes were stolen from the 100 block of Miller Road.

SEPT. 25

Traffic. A driver was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk near Larpenteur Avenue and Pascal Street.

Theft. A vacuum cleaner valued at $1,000 was stolen from a business in the 1700 block of Snelling Avenue.

SEPT. 30

Traffic. Police received a report of vehicles racing in the street near Larpenteur and Cleveland avenues. An officer was writing up a driver for a stop light violation when the report went out, and police continued to patrol the area.

FRIDLEY

SEPT. 29

Lost child. An officer responded to a report from a woman in the 100 block of Island Park Drive NE. that her 5-year-old son was missing. The officer found the boy on the next street playing with some friends.

OCT. 1

Medical. Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated woman on the ground in the 6300 block of NE. 5th Street. The 59-year-old woman was taken to the hospital.

MAPLEWOOD

SEPT. 27

Drugs. A man working on his car in a parking lot was reported acting erratically in the 1800 block of North St. Paul Road. According to witnesses, the man had been taking off a tire and putting it back on since the night before. When police arrived, they found him in the car and noticed a lit marijuana joint and an open bottle of beer on the center console. They arrested the man after finding a bag of cocaine in his pocket.

SEPT. 28

Theft. Fishing and boating equipment valued at more than $2,400 were taken from a vehicle in the 1500 block of Piper Drive.

SEPT. 13

Animal complaint. Officers responded to a report of a large rodent in an egress window at a home in the 6900 block of 17th Lane NW. The woodchuck was captured and relocated to nearby woods.

ST. ANTHONY

SEPT. 29

Driving violations. An 18-year-old man was arrested for having illegally tinted vehicle windows and not having a valid driver's license following a traffic stop at 37th Avenue and Stinson Boulevard.

SEPT. 27

Suspicious activity. Six bags of duck decoys were reported missing from property in the area of Big Marine Lake near Margo Avenue.

STILLWATER TOWNSHIP

SEPT. 30

Suspicious situation. A deputy removed a mannequin from the shoulder of a road near St. Croix Trail and Partridge Road. He had to leave it at the intersection temporarily as he was unable to get it into his vehicle.
