In the midst of the normal partisan rancor, new effort at bipartisanship has broken out at the Minnesota Capitol.
Sens. Roger Reinert, DFL-Duluth, and Jeremy Miller, R-Winona, are starting the "Purple Caucus."
The new caucus is designed to "serve as a venue where members of the Minnesota Legislature can unite from across the aisle to share ideas in a constructive way."
The Senators plan to share more details about their plans on Monday morning.
