Knowing how to make end-of-life choices will become more critical for a growing number of Americans in the so-called "silver tsunami" as baby boomers age.
Coping with those decisions is examined in "Graceful Journey," a program that helps people care for one another through illness, death and grief. The program will be presented two Sunday mornings, Oct. 6 and Oct. 13, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stillwater from 9-10:30 a.m.
The church is at 115 Fourth St. N.
Presentations will include information about handling advance care directives and how to have difficult end-of-life conversations with reluctant partners. Topics include a preferred place for dying, who will be present at death, and considerations for long-term care.
