The Melismatics, White Light Riot and Idle Hands are all performing for free tonight at the Fine Line -- a winning triple-bill that we can credit to the Minnesota State Lottery. Local bands are being recurited to tout the lottery's new Cash & Concerts scratch-off games, in which prizes include iPods and Ticketmaster gift cards. Most music fans feel like they win the lottery anytime they can avoid Ticketmaster's fees. Show time tonight is 8:30 p.m., and it's 18 & older (old enough to play the lottery). There's another of these free lottery shows May 27 at the Varsity Theater with Rogue Valley (Chris Koza's band) and Jason Shannon.
