The final site of the Cassius Restaurant, 318 S. Third St. in Minneapolis, which was listed in the 1961 Green Book as a safe place for Black travelers. The proprietor, Anthony Brutus Cassius, was the first Black man to receive a liquor license in Minneapolis. The restaurant, shown at left in 1960, closed in 1980, and the building burned down in 1991.
