Lindsay, Lindsay, Lindsay: The "joke" defense is not effective PR. The stencil defense is even worse.
A day after Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail, some investigative reporters took a close look at the photos of the starlet in court and spotted an obscenity printed on her middle finger.
Not only is it a crime to paint one's nails such a horrific melange of fluorescents, Lohan has committed the sin of uber-stupidity with this tweet today to one of her pals:
"didn't we do our nails as a joke with our friend dc? it had nothing to do w/court.. it's an airbrush design from a stencil"
A California judge found her apology for violating her probation in a 2007 drug case insincere. We can only imagine what Judge Revel would say about the stencil defense.
Lindsay, get thee to a reputable PR firm. And to a highly skilled manicurist.
