Josh Benson, 16, of Hinckley, Minn., lost the use of his legs when the ATV he was riding with his girlfriend flipped and pinned him underneath. According to Josh, a front wheel on the vehicle failed, causing it to veer into a ditch. Before the crash, Josh said, he pushed his girlfriend, Kelly McFarland, safely off the vehicle. Josh was flown by helicopter from a hospital in Sandstone to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where he was treated for his injuries and had physical therapy for more than a month.
