James Carville, Democratic political consultant and television commentator, is the keynote speaker for the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party's Founder's Day dinner on Sept. 6. Carville, best known for his role in Bill Clinton's successful presidential campaign in 1992, is co-author of the book, "It's the Middle Class, Stupid!" and has recently worked on campaigns in more than 20 countries. He lives in New Orleans and is married to Mary Matalin, an equally well-known Republican consultant. The event, at the Minneapolis Convention Center, is not open to the media.
