Historic Fort Snelling played host to their annual Fourth of July celebration. Despite a morning full of heavy rain, war re-enactors still raised the American flag and soon the rain gave way and the festivities went into full swing. The day's events included an infantry parade, musket firing, battle re-enactment and canon salute. Despite the poor weather, hundreds of people still came out to enjoy the day.
