A motorcyclist was killed Friday when a car hit him head-on in Hastings, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Witnesses told the patrol that at about 4:30 p.m., a station wagon crossed the median line and hit the motorcyclist on County Road 54 in Hastings.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. The 50-year-old Hastings man driving the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to Regina Medical Center in Hastings, according to the patrol.
