Mohamed Ibrahim, Gophers

The redshirt freshman running back rushed 31 times for 224 yards and two touchdowns, in the process breaking Darrell Thompson's single-game record (205 yards vs. Bowling Green in 1986) for a Gophers freshman. He was named the game's MVP.

Defensive MVPs

Julian and Jacob Huff, Gophers

The senior identical twins were standouts in their final college games. Julian, a linebacker, made a game-high nine tackles, all solo, and had a sack while starting in place Blake Cashman, who left early to prepare for a pro career. Jacob, a safety, made eight tackles.
