Another attempt at road win No. 1

Preview: The Gophers (13-8, 6-8 Big Ten) haven't won at Indiana since 2012, the team's second-longest road losing streak against any Big Ten opponent. A victory would give Richard Pitino his first road victory this season after an 0-7 start. Six of the Gophers' road losses have been by double figures, including 72-59 Sunday at Maryland. Indiana (11-9, 6-7) is coming off a 78-59 loss at No. 4 Ohio State last weekend. But the Hoosiers secured the season sweep over top-10 Iowa in their last home game after a 15-footer from Armaan Franklin with 1.8 seconds left in the 67-65 victory on Feb. 7.

Players to watch: Gophers freshman guard Jamal Mashburn Jr. had a career-high 14 points on 5-for-11 shooting from the floor Sunday. Mashburn, who is averaging 10.2 points in his past four games, was the first freshman to lead the Gophers in scoring in a game since Gabe Kalscheur in the Gophers' NCAA tournament first-round victory over Louisville on March 21, 2019. Hoosiers big man Trayce Jackson-Davis has eight double-doubles this season, including three in his past four games. The 6-9 sophomore had 23 points and nine rebounds in his last game Saturday vs. Ohio State.

Numbers: Jackson-Davis is the only Indiana player in the past 25 years to have three games of 25 points and 15 rebounds in his career. His last one in the Big Ten was a 27-point, 16-rebound game in a 68-56 victory at Minnesota last season.
