Fishing continues to be good in the Otter Tail Lake area. Walleyes are in 20 to 30 feet of water on mid-lake humps.
Crawlers and leeches with spinners are working best. Colors working best are yellow/orange, blue/white and chartreuse.
Panfish bit is going good in 15 feet of water. Wax worms or small minnows on a slip bobber are the ticket.
Crank bait bite is starting to pick up in the evenings in 7 to 12 feet of water. Purple, blue or bleeding pearl are color choices.
All you deer hunters - remember if you are in the lottery area, you can only shoot 1 deer for the year. Applications for a doe permits must be in by September 10th.
Call for more details on fishing or hunting rules for this year. Gary Peterson, Ken's Tackle 218-495-2895
