MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND AT THE LANDING

Take advantage of the extended weekend to experience life along the Minnesota River. Meet fur traders and farmers. Play old-fashioned games and ride a horse-drawn trolley. WILD WEST DAYS

The time of year has come when cities celebrate their communities with carnivals and varieties of food on a stick. Zimmerman is home to Wild West Days with camel rides and a soapbox derby. Anna Mae's Mercantile has handmade art and crafts. There's also a beer garden, classic bike and car show and live entertainment. Fireworks at 10 p.m. on Sun.
