Expansion pains

Atlanta United scored the first MLS goal on Minnesota soil just three minutes into Sunday's match, and it all snowballed from there for Minnesota United:

The Loons became the first MLS team to give up at least five goals in back-to-back games.

A crowd of 35,000 had to brave a late-winter snowstorm. An orange ball was used, and lines had to be cleared regularly.

Loons goalkeeper John Alvbage left the field on a stretcher in the 86th minute.
