Quarterback Jayme Moten was the difference-maker on offense for New London Spicer, which came back from a 21-12 deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat Glencoe-Silver Lake 28-21 in the Class 3A Prep Bowl.

Both teams came into the game undefeated. Glencoe-Silver Lake had won the past three 3A titles and looked to be on its way to a fourth after a long TD by Aaron Lueders early in the fourth quarter -- just seconds after an NL-S score -- gave the Panthers a nine-point lead. But New London-Spicer, behind a pair of TDs and two-point conversions, regained the lead with three minutes left. An interception by Sam Schmid with a minute left sealed the victory vor the Wildcats.

That leaves just one more football game in the 2009 high school season: undefeated Sartell-St. Stephen and undefeated Totino-Grace will kick off in about 30 minutes in the Class 4A title game.
