NEXT OPPONENT:

INDIANAPOLIS

The Colts have rookie quarterback Andrew Luck, the top overall draft pick, and a new coach in former Ravens defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano.

COLTS WEEK 1

Chicago 41, Indianapolis 21

Luck finished 23-for-45 for 309 yards with a 4-yard TD pass to Donnie Avery in the fourth quarter. He also was intercepted three times. Reggie Wayne caught nine passes for 135 yards.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR

Luck will improve quickly

Luck expects a rocky season: "There will be a lot of positives, a lot of negatives, we'll try to learn from it. I'm still disappointed fresh off what happened, but we'll get over it."

OUTLOOK

The Colts are concerned about their defense, and star DE Dwight Freeney (ankle) left Sunday's game. The Vikings offense certainly shouldn't be overwhelmed. Outlook: Horns up.
