Every spring, there's a morning in which everyone at the Capitol seems to be moving a little slower. That's the morning after the fabled Iron Range party at Mancini's in St. Paul. This year the party -- which attracts a bipartisan crowd to celebrate the Range and its virtues (and vices) -- will take on special meaning. Rangers and others will celebrate the late former Rep. Tommy Rukavina, the diminutive loudmouth who was a champion of the Range for decades before his untimely passing earlier this year.
Photojournalist Glen Stubbe has been chief political photographer for the Star Tribune since 2011 and was business photographer and photo editor before that. He was named Visual MN Photographer of the Year twice in a row, first in 2015, and then combined 2016-2017.
