The man the New York Times refers to as "the most popular poet in America" will read Sunday in St. Paul. Billy Collins, former U.S. poet laureate, will read at 2 p.m. Feb. 8 at Common Good Books, 38 S. Snelling Av. Collins has received numerous awards, including the Oscar Blumenthal Prize, the Levinson Prize, the Hall-Kenyon Prize and the Mailer Prize for poetry.
