Ottawa Senators 2007 first-round pick Jim O'Brien scored the winner less than eight minutes into overtime Saturday night to lift Binghamton to a 2-1 win over Houston and tie the best-of-seven Calder Cup Finals at 1 game apiece.
Casey Wellman scored the lone goal for the Aeros as Robyn Lehner made 28 saves for Binghamton.
Both teams will get plenty of rest now. Home-ice advantage now belongs to the Baby Sens, and the series switches to Binghamton with Game 3 not coming until Wednesday.
