Aziel Jackson scored the go-ahead goal in the 67th minute and assisted on Justin McMaster's first-half goal as MNUFC2 beat the Portland Timbers2 3-1 at the National Sports Center in Blaine on Sunday night.

McMaster scored in the 27th minute for his fifth MLS Next Pro goal and first since April 24.

In the second half, Portland tied it when Selmir Miscic scored off a chip shot in the 62nd minute. But five minutes later, Jackson found open space in the box and scored off an assist from McMaster for a 2-1 lead.

Tommy Williamson added a goal in the 89th minute for MNUFC2 (7-7-3, 27 points), which remains in seventh place in the MLS Next Pro Western Conference standings.
