Jaime Meyer's 13th annual "Winter Solstice Blessing" at the Minnesota Opera Center in Minneapolis is part theater, part storytelling and part interactive shamanic ceremony. The evening starts with interactive drumming, includes live musicians playing a variety of instruments and a chorus of women chanting Celtic and Nordic melodies. It culminates in a shamanic ceremony in which everyone in the audience can receive a blessing from the "Antlered One." For more pictures, go to startribune.com/gallery.
