What: A public open house to see the 70-acre Camp Fire camp that could become Ojiketa Regional Park. When: Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a program at 1 p.m. Tours will be held at 11:30 a.m., 1:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. Where: Camp Ojiketa, 27500 Kirby Ave., Chisago City, Minn. Who: Don Taylor, mayor Chisago City; Julie Redpath, representative Ojiketa Preservation Society; Bob McGillivray, Trust for Public Land project manager; Jenna Fletcher, Embrace Open Space representative. Why: To promote the land as a public park for people wanting to swim, camp and hike.
