Parents and students admired the new mural at the Folwell Performing Arts Magnet School in Minneapolis. More than 700 people in the neighborhood helped created the Connections Mural over the past six months, and a special unveiling party was held Thursday to honor their work. The artwork stretches over four panels, or sections on the school building, that are 2,000 square feet combined. It was spearheaded by Greta McLain, an artist who attended the school, and the design was guided by current students.
