Minnetonka upset top-ranked Andover 2-1 in girls' hockey on the road Thursday night.

The Skippers were led by Lacey Martin, who scored in the first and third periods. Kylie Melz assisted on both goals.

Peyton Hemp scored in the second period for the Huskies (7-1) with assists from Tyra Turner and Jamie Nelson.

Brynn DuLac made 16 saves for Minnetonka, while Amanda Pelkey made 21 for Andover.

The Skippers (4-4-1) were unranked in this week's Let's Play Hockey poll and will play Proctor/Hermantown, ranked No. 3 in Class 1A, on Friday night at home.

Hopkins/St. Louis Park 4, New Prague 3: Kate Kasica scored the game-winning goal for the Royals on a power play. Mary O'Neil and Erin Brousseau had the assists. O'Neil finished with three assists. Brousseau, Mary Gleason, Charlotte Rich scored the other three goals for Hopkins/St. Louis Park. Lindsey Bjerke led the Trojans with two goals.

Minneapolis 3, Osseo/Park Center 0: Maeve Tallman earned the shutout with 14 saves for Minneapolis. Erica Lieske led the offense with two scores, including a shorthanded goal in the second period. Maddy Helmstetter also scored.

Eastview 4, Rosemount 1: With less than three minutes to play, Avery Chesek scored two unanswered goals for the Lightning to seal the win. Natalie Bordson and Josie Ellingson also scored for Eastview. Emma Ginter scored for the Irish.

Breck 9, Cretin-Derham Hall 4: Olivia Mobley led the Mustangs with a hat trick and an assist. Sadie Lindsay added a goal and two assists. Kiera Ryan had a goal and an assist to lead the Raiders.

Boys' Hockey

North Branch 4, Princeton 3 (OT): Cody Croal's second goal ended the game six minutes into the extra frame. Joey Kirchner and Alex Langevin also scored for the Vikings. Dylan Cook, Michael Pazdernik and Jack Southard scored for the Tigers.

South St. Paul 4, St. Paul Academy 3 (OT): With less than three minutes in regulation, Adam Zukowski scored for the Spartans to force overtime. Jacob Saver's second goal of the game was the game-winner. Jackson Luhrs added a goal and an assist for the Packers.

Hastings 7, Henry Sibley 1: Leo Otto led the Raiders with a hat trick. Chase Friermuth scored twice. The Warriors avoided the shutout with Tommy Cooper's goal.

Centennial 8, Coon Rapids 1: Joshua Hermes had a hat trick and an assist to lead the Cougars over the Cardinals. Henry Bartle added two more goals along with an assist.

Boys' basketball

Prior Lake 65, Chaska 53: Dawson Garcia scored a game-high 25 points to give the Lakers their first win of the season. Prior Lake is ranked No. 6 in this week's Class 4A Minnesota Basketball News poll. Conner Krenos led the Hawks with 22.

Girls' basketball

Prior Lake 78, New Prague 64: McKenna Hofschild had 33 points for the Lakers, following last week's single-game scoring record of 63 points. It was Prior Lake's first win this season. Haidyn Pitsch added 13. Emily Russo had 26 points for the Trojans.
