An early flight of 25 Tundra Swans was reported Saturday, seen from the Old Cedar Avenue bridge. The birds are moving from winter territory on Chesapeake Bay to nesting ground along the Canadian Arctic coast and in far northwestern Alaska. More flights will be arriving. Listen for them whoooo whooooing high overhead.
