Congestion has a choke hold on both directions of I-35W in south Minneapolis. Northbound is plugged from Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis And much of that is due to a motorist who ran out of gas in the HOT lane at 46th Street. An earlier fender bender at Franklin Avenue is gone.
The story is the same on the Crosstown in both directions between 35W and Hwy. 169. And on westbound 94 from White Bear Avenue past a crash at Lexington Avenue in St. Paul.
Look for it to be a slow slow roll from Lake Drive to 35E on westbound 494 from Woodbury to Mendota Heights.
And it's a minor set back for eastbound Hwy. 10 drivers at Hwy. 65 where a stall is blocking the left lane.
