If you think the Wolves still have some work to do to fill their roster even after reaching an agreement to bring back Shabazz Muhammad, well, try being the new Iowa Wolves.
The Wolves' new G League team has a 12-man roster to fill and other than two-way signee Anthony Brown have nary a one signed.
They'll be looking for players Saturday at an open tryout at the Timberwolves' Mayo Clinic Square practice facility.
They held a similar audition last weekend in Des Moines and will do the same here, with new coach Scott Roth looking on.
It's a long shot to be sure, but it can be done: That how's Jonathan Simmons made it from nowhere to the San Antonio Spurs. Last year, 33 players in participated in tryouts across the league were selected in the D League draft and 14 made rosters.
The only catch: It'll cost participants $200 now to be seen.

The Wolves, meanwhile, will have three open roster spots left after they officially sign Muhammad to come back on a league minimum deal, which likely will happen today.
Expect them to keep one roster spot for flexibility so they're able to sign a player waived or bought out by another team just before the season opener.
