Junior hockey: Played five seasons for the Spokane (Wash.) Chiefs of the Western Hockey League. The Chiefs won the Memorial Cup, a tournament for the champions of the Canadian major hockey leagues, in 2008.
Drafted: 2008, sixth round (156th overall) by the N.Y. Islanders. The Islanders did not sign him.
With the Wild: Signed as a free agent in 2010. Was assigned to Houston (AHL) after training camp, played 23 games for the Aeros before being called up on his 21st birthday.
Regular season: 233 games, 18 goals, 60 assists, 78 points, plus-15, 28 penalty minutes.
Playoffs: 18 games, four goals, four assists, six points, minus-3, four penalty minutes.
