Bird hikes sponsored by Brainerd Lakes Area Audubon Society (BLAAS) Chapter will be offered Thursdays May 2, 9, 16, and 23, starting at 7 a.m, and Saturdays May 4, 11, 25, starting at 8 a.m.
(Not on May 18, as Crosslake's Bird Day is that day.)
The hikes will be at Northland Arboretum, 14250 Conservation Drive, Brainerd.
Hikes, on turf trails, will last about an hour. Sturdy footwear is recommended.
Hikes are free to members of Northland Arboretum. The daily trail fee of $5 applies to non-arboretum members.
Leaders and tally assistants are experienced birders and/or Minnesota Master Naturalists. Loaner binoculars and field guides will be available.
