Definition: "A relationship in which one person's needs always come first." (Merriam-Webster Online)

Sample usage: "It's a typical melationship — he thinks his better half is his right side."

Popularity: It's a word used as an accusation against a narcissistic person, not as a description of your own unhappy state. "This isn't a relationship, it's a melationship, by which I mean it's about you!" Of course, narcissists always think it's about them. Stick with "selfish."
