The WNBA draft lottery will be Nov. 2 in New York City. It will determine the order of teams picking first through fourth in the first round of the 2011 draft of college players next April.

The Lynx will have two of the first four picks -- their own and another from a trade with Connecticut -- and have a 38 percent of getting the No. 1 pick overall, who will undoubtedly be Connecticut star Maya Moore.

Tulsa has a 44.2 percent chance at the top pick, Chicago a 17.8 percent.

Volleyball at the U The No. 17-rated Gophers volleyball team (11-3, 1-1) plays its first home match in the Big Ten Conference against Purdue at 6 p.m. Friday at the Sports Pavilion. Indiana visits at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Sophomore Tabitha Love leads the Gophers with an average if 3.96 kills per set. Ashley Wittman is hitting .337; she is the only freshman playing regular over .300.

Junior libero Jessica Granquist is averaging 4.78 digs per set, the best in the Big Ten.

Purdue (10-3) and Indiana (12-2) are also 1-1 in conference play.

U soccer loses Wisconsin beat the Gophers soccer team 1-0 at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium, ending the Gophers' 11-game unbeaten streak, which was the second longest in school history.
