Pacific leaders riding hot streak
Preview: The Flames are the hottest team in hockey, with a seven-game winning streak. The Pacific Division leaders are 2-0 against the Wild this season, winning 2-0 in Calgary and 2-1 at Xcel Energy Center in December games. Saturday's game opens a stretch in which the Wild will play four of five on the road.
Players to watch: Wild F Zach Parise, who leads the team with 24 goals and 54 points, is expected to play. Parise took a hard shot off his foot in Tuesday's victory over Winnipeg, but he remained in the game, and he returned to practice Friday after an extra day of rest. Flames F Johnny Gaudreau ranks fourth in the NHL with 82 points, including 52 assists.
Numbers: Wild F Ryan Donato's point streak stands at a career-high four games (one goal, five assists). Calgary has allowed a total of eight goals in its past six games.
Injuries: Wild F Mikko Koivu (knee surgery), F Victor Rask (lower-body injury) and D Matt Dumba (torn pectoral muscle) are out. Calgary D Michael Stone (blood clot), F James Neal (upper-body injury) and D Oliver Kylington (lower-body injury) are out.
