Taryn Christion found Jake Wieneke for a 2-yard touchdown with 1 second left on fourth down and South Dakota State beat five-time defending FCS champion North Dakota State 19-17 on Saturday in Fargo to end the Bison's 14-game winning streak.

It was the Bison's first defeat since a 24-21 loss to South Dakota on Oct. 17, 2015.

South Dakota State was down 17-3 after Easton Stick scrambled 26 yards for a third-quarter touchdown to give North Dakota State to a 17-3 advantage. But Christion brought the Jackrabbits back.

Christion connected with Dallas Goedert, who finished with 11 catches for 150 yards, for a 12-yard TD pass to pull to 17-10. Chase Vinatieri kicked a 42-yard field goal in the fourth quarter and Christion hit Wieneke with a 25-yard pass to the Bison 11 to set up the winning score.

Christion passed for 303 yards and two scores with an interception for South Dakota State (4-2, 3-0 Missouri Valley).

Stick rushed 12 times for 86 yards and two TDs for NDSU (5-1, 2-1).

South Dakota 33, Indiana State 30 (OT): Jacob Warner intercepted a pass in the second overtime to give the Coyotes (3-3, 2-1 Missouri Valley) a victory over the Sycamores (3-4, 1-3) in Terre Haute, Ind. Miles Bergner kicked a 41-yard field goal in the second overtime for the decisive points.

North Dakota 45, Southern Utah 23: Keaton Studsrud completed 20 of 27 passes for 282 yards and four touchdowns as the Fighting Hawks (5-2, 4-0 Big Sky) defeated the Thunderbirds (3-3, 2-2) in Grand Forks, N.D.
