Instead of donning cocktail dresses and suits and ties, concertgoers at Symphony and Suds sported jeans, raincoats and boots. Sociable Cider Werks in northeast Minneapolis hosted a horn quintet from the Minnesota Orchestra for two 30-minute sets to play a packed taproom. There's still time to experience classical music in a casual environment. The mini-concert series will continue at Surly Brewing Co. on May 5, Insight Brewing on May 12 and Fair State Brewing Co-op on July 7, all in Minneapolis. See more photos at startribune.com/variety.
