Boys' hockey

Centennial 3, Eden Prairie 2: The Class 2A, No. 8 Cougars scored three unanswered goals to defeat the No. 4 Eagles for third place in the Schwan Cup Gold Division. Carter Wagner got the Cougars on the board in the second period, before Hayden Brickner and Graham Brickner scored minutes apart in the third to secure the win. Hunter Johannes and Jack Jensen gave the Eagles an early 2-0 lead.

Minnetonka 2, Hill-Murray 1: Jack Bayless broke a 1-1 tie in the second period for the eventual game-winner as the Class 2A, No. 12 Skippers defeated the No. 10 Pioneers for fifth place in the Schwan Cup Gold Division. Jack Bowman also scored for the Skippers. Emmet Nath scored the Pioneers' lone goal.

Burnsville 3, Wayzata 2: Logan Kittleson scored the game-winning goal with six seconds remaining in the third period as the Blaze defeated the Trojans for seventh place in the Schwan Cup Gold Division. Daniel Sandvig scored the first two goals for the Blaze. Reid Waszczenko and Tommy Leisen scored for the Trojans.

Cretin-Derham Hall 3, Anoka 1: Tied 1-1 after the second period, the Raiders scored two goals in the third to defeat the Tornadoes for fifth place in the Schwan Cup Silver Division. The third-period goals were scored by Matt Gleason, his second of the game, and Edward Vrtis. Jared Wilber gave the Tornadoes an early 1-0 lead.

Hudson (Wis.) 7, Holy Angels 0: Raiders goalie Henry Baribeau needed just eight saves to shut out the Stars for fifth place in the Schwan Cup Bronze Division. Seven players scored for the Raiders, the top-ranked boys' hockey team in Wisconsin.

Girls' hockey

Mounds View 5, Roseville 2: The Mustangs jumped out to a 4-1 lead after the first period and added an insurance goal in the third to defeat the Raiders for fifth place in the Kaposia Classic Invitational. Annika Brodt, Audrey Jackson, Emma Bangert, Stephanie Anderson and Lisa Nadeau scored for the Mustangs. Izzy Larson and Lexi DeBace scored for the Raiders.
