"The Ring" is coming back in 3D form. Great! Can't wait to feel my brain smoke as it processes a half-second glimpse of enormous 3D writhing maggots. The first movie was good; the second I can't remember, and you might wonder what's left to say. Well:

I think they called it vee-ay chess, or something like that. It was how they watched movies when TVs were square.
Lots of people still have VHS players, blinking 12:00 since 1992. Could be worse: the deadly movie could be stored on a floppy disk. Good luck finding a drive to read that.
