The Philadelphia Eagles have traded Donovan McNabb to the division rival Washington Redskins for the 37th overall pick in this year's draft and an additional third- or fourth-round pick depending on performance, according to NFL.com and ESPN.
The Vikings, who are waiting on Brett Favre to make a decision about his future and did not pursue McNabb, have the 30th selection overall in the first round. The Redskins were able to get McNabb for what amounts to a second and either third- or fourth-round pick.
The Vikings will face both the Eagles and Redskins on the road in 2010.
Update: The Eagles just made it official, announcing that they have traded McNabb to Washington for a second-round choice (37th overall) in 2010 and either a third- or fourth-round pick in 2011. The Eagles have called a news conference for 8:30 p.m. Central today.
