See more of the story

Forget looking outside. You can't check Facebook or Instagram these days without seeing a fiery orange tree pop before your eyes.

Clearly, Minnesotans are addicted to snapping the changing colors of fall. Who can blame them? This autumn gets an A-plus for eye candy.

That's why we asked readers to show off their best photos by using the hashtag #stribfallcolor on social media or by e-mailing their pics. The response was overwhelming. Hundreds of submissions captured the state's most scenic locations — from Lebanon Hills in Eagan to the shores of Lake Superior.

A lot of you said this is the most colorful autumn in recent memory. Or maybe we just prefer focusing on fall rather than what comes after it.
